Having become a fashionable phenomenon in Europe thanks to the dissemination of Vivaldi's scores through the press, the Italian concerto in three movements (two fast outer movements, the slow middle one) is the canvas on which the four concertos for violin, strings and basso continuo of this recording are based. Cinzia Barbagelata with her ensemble provides us with a very pleasant and engaging version.
