FAB 0040 Domenico Scarlatti Jeyboards Sonatas

Domenico Scarlatti, author of no less than 555 Sonatas dedicated to the harpsichord, is one of the composers still most loved by pianists today, so much so that his Sonatas are frequently recorded by keyboard virtuosos. He simply called them 'Essercizi', perhaps underestimating the artistic importance that the music world today recognises in these short, intense works where the wisdom of a Baroque composer who knew how to set himself above all epochs and fashions is synthesised.
