The Trio di Parma completes Beethoven's complete set of works dedicated to this ensemble (violin, cello and piano) with the Triplo Concerto Op. 56, which here sees the three instruments dialoguing virtuosistically with an orchestral symphonic ensemble. And finally, intense and full of charm, an early work: the Trio Op. 11, most frequently performed with the clarinet, the printed edition in fact says 'for clarinet or violin'
